Our board president, Gary Matthews, has a long history in service to Colorado non-profits, working for Naropa University, the Women's Bean Project and the Shambhala Mountain Center, before taking his current position at BCAP.

Gary is, also, on the board of Ashoka Credit Union, a banking institution that serves the local Buddhist community, and is treasurer of Team Colorado, an umbrella organization for gay and lesbian athletic clubs.

When he has free time, Gary, takes advantage of all that Colorado offers in the way of recreation. He cycles the mountains and plains, mountain bikes the trails along the Front Range and competes in local triathlons, working hard not to come in last.
