Wanda Pelegrina Caldas has never owned a valid driver's license. She believes that car culture is at the root of

many a societal problem. When not dreaming of car free communities with streets converted to gardens, Wanda has both feet planted firmly on her pedals.

Some may not imagine that under the guise of mild-mannered family outreach coordinator at a local elementary school, lives many a layer of bicycle grease and that beneath her no nonsense attitude is a girl who loves life on two wheels.

Wanda's done all kinds of exciting things on her bike including moving from her old apartment to her current home. In 2006, Wanda was GO Boulder Bike Commuter of the Year.
