Seniors on Bikes
June 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24 (picnic)
Join Seniors on Bikes for several rides of varying distance throughout June. With more than 60 members strong, Seniors on Bikes was founded by several local seniors who meet Wednesdays and Fridays for rides around Boulder County. These rides are open to the public. Please check in one day in advance to verify ride times and locations by calling 303-494-2890 or e-mailing seniorsonbikes@gmail.com.

Tuesday Morning Hikers
June 7, 14, 21
Meet each Tuesday morning in June in the parking lot north of the Boulder Social Security office, 4949 Pearl E. Walking Wednesdays with GO Boulder

Co-Ed Fun Road Ride – Full Cycle

Take part in an enjoyable, relaxing co-ed ride starting at Full Cycle, 1795 Pearl St., at 6 p.m. June 4. The ride will be about an hour long and have a moderate pace. All ages welcome. 

Boulder by Bike Ride – B-360
June 5
As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, join B-360 for a fun ride for all ages. This event begins and ends at Scott Carpenter Park with a rolling start between 3 and 5 p.m. Refreshments will be provided and participants are welcome to a post-ride picnic. Contact Annie Noble, 303-441-3242 or

Boulder Creek Path Historic Bike Tour

Come to the historic Settler’s Park at 5:30 p.m. on June 8 for a relaxing ride along the Boulder Creek Path. All ages and abilities are welcome.  For more information, visit

Community Cycles Summer Bike Sale
June 11
Visit the Meadows Shopping Center at Foothills and Baseline from 10 am to 2 pm on June 11 to donate your old bike or find the perfect summer bike. There will be a kid’s bike rodeo, prizes, refreshments and a helmet fitting. You can also register your bike with Boulder police for free. Proceeds will benefit Community Cycles. Boulder Jewish Festival 2011

Celebrate Jewish culture at the Boulder Jewish Festival, June 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Pearl Street Mall and Boulder Courthouse lawn. Park(ing) Space Day
June 17
Businesses all over town adopt a spot and convert it into a park for one day by setting up grass, flowers, trees, chairs and other features. This city-wide event will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on June 17 at various locations. Visit

Bike to Work Day
June 22
Join thousands of fellow walkers and bikers for Bike to Work Day on June 22. More than 40 breakfast stations all over town will be serving up free breakfast to bikers and walkers from 7 to 9 am. Visit

Walking Tour of the Historic Uni-Hill Neighborhood

Clips of Faith Beer and Film Tour – New Belgium Brewery
June 24
As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, join us June 24 for the Clips of Faith Film Tour, sponsored by New Belgium Brewery. This tour is an extravaganza of beer and film expression. The films, which are free to view, will visit more than a dozen cities, including Boulder for Walk & Bike Month. Beer sales will benefit Community Cycles. The festival will run from 7:30 – 11 pm at Central Park. Visit

Annual Seniors on Bikes introductory ride and picnic
June 24
There's no cost for this event, which starts from the East Boulder Rec Center. More information: SeniorsOnBikes@gmail.com or 303-494-2890. The SOB picnic is being "upgraded" this year to a broader menu thanks to the contribution of Peak Form Physical Therapy. There will be a group ride from the E. Boulder Rec Center at 8AM to Martin Park (via a circuitous route) for a 9am post-ride breakfast. Riders may optionally continue afterward to Eldorado Springs and return.
