Children and parents can join OSMP's Jeff Kagan for an evening of children’s music and nature. We'll take a short hike in Chautauqua Meadow (moderate steepness) with 20-30 minutes of guitar/singing. Music will be appropriate for children but all ages are welcome! Bring Crazy Creek chair or blanket. Meet at the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage.

Twelve thousand years ago, mammoths lumbered through Boulder’s cool deciduous forests. As glaciers melted, the climate dried up and the forests vanished . . . except for a few rare hidden pockets. Travel back with naturalist Dave Sutherland to one of the last remnants of the Ice Age where natural marvels await. Due to sensitivity of the habitat, space is limited to 15. Players start at either Full Cycle or Fleet Feet and run or bike to the other store. At each store there will be a variety of activities. Players get their card stamped and then return to the store they started at. All players completing the game get a free pair of Pearl Izumi socks. At the end of the event (around 7 pm) there will be a party at Fleet Feet, where more prizes will be given out. Prizes drawn at 7:30. Must be present to win.
