Seniors on Bikes
June 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24 (picnic)
Join Seniors on Bikes for several rides of varying distance throughout June. With more than 60 members strong, Seniors on Bikes was founded by several local seniors who meet Wednesdays and Fridays for rides around Boulder County. These rides are open to the public. W&BM at the Farmer’s Market

As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, GO Boulder will host an informational booth at the Boulder Farmer’s Market, 13th Street and Arapahoe Avenue, from 4 to 7 p.m. on June 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, and 22. Community Cycles Rolling Bike Clinic

Visit the Community Cycles Rolling Bike Clinic from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on June 5, 12, and 19. The rolling clinic is equipped with all the tools of a mobile bike shop and manned with volunteers who can repair your bike. Locations are yet to be determined. Visit

Riders and those interested in electric bikes should meet at the Central Park Band Shell at 7 p.m. Although the focus is on electric bikes, anyone who would like to learn more about electric bikes is welcome to join on a traditional bike. Bike to Dance

This workshop will examine the reasons why it makes sense to go car-free, including saving money, improving personal health, and reducing our environmental impact. Boulder by Bike Ride – B-360

As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, join B-360 for a fun ride for all ages. This event begins and ends at Scott Carpenter Park with a rolling start between 3 and 5 p.m. Refreshments will be provided and participants are welcome to a post-ride picnic. Southern Bike Adventure
Sun June 5
Grab your helmets and jump on your bike for an informative ride through the city of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Park's southern bike trail system. Join Ranger/Naturalist Kelly Idema as we travel from the historic mining town of Marshall to the ponderosa pine forests of Spring Brook Loop and everything in between.

This ride is approximately 15 miles and catered for people with intermediate mountain biking skills and fitness levels.  Helmets are mandatory, food and water is highly recommended.

Ride runs from 9 am - 12:30 pm. Meet at the Marshall Mesa Trailhead, just east of the junction of Highway 93 and Marshall Road. Contact Dave Southerland at SutherlandD@bouldercolorado.gov for more info.

Fitness and Hydration for Women Riders and Runners – Full Cycle

The MIX – Active Lifestyle and Singles – Full Cycle

As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, join Full Cycle, Fleet Feet and others on June 7 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. for the MIX. Community Cycles Summer Bike Sale

Visit the Meadows Shopping Center at Foothills and Baseline from 10 am to 2 pm on June 11 to donate your old bike or find the perfect summer bike. Clips of Faith Beer and Film Tour – New Belgium Brewery

Annual Seniors on Bikes introductory ride and picnic

There's no cost for this event, which starts from the East Boulder Rec Center. More information: SeniorsOnBikes@gmail.com or 303-494-2890. The SOB picnic is being "upgraded" this year to a broader menu thanks to the contribution of Peak Form Physical Therapy. There will be a group ride from the E. Boulder Rec Center at 8AM to Martin Park (via a circuitous route) for a 9am post-ride breakfast. Riders may optionally continue afterward to Eldorado Springs and return.

Professional Drive-Train Cleaning – Community Cycles

This workshop will reveal how to clean and reassemble a drive-train, including the removal of your chain, drive-side crank, and cassette/freewheel. Nature For Kids & Parents: Hitting the trail!
Sun June 26, 10-12 noon
Join city of Boulder Open Space naturalist Debora Martin for a family bike tour along South Boulder Creek. We'll look for the Bobolink, a distinctive bird of the open grasslands which gave this trailhead its name.  We'll stop at the creek for a snack, play a game and explore!  Bring a bike, helmet, water, snack, and meet at the Bobolink Trailhead for biking fun. Tagalongs and trailers OK.  Ages 6 and up.
