Walking Wednesdays with GO Boulder

Community Cycles Rolling Bike Clinic

Visit the Community Cycles Rolling Bike Clinic from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on June 5, 12, and 19. The rolling clinic is equipped with all the tools of a mobile bike shop and manned with volunteers who can repair your bike. Locations are yet to be determined. Visit

Bike to Dance

Free participatory folk dance program outside on the Plaza beside the Dushanbe Teahouse (1770 13th St) in downtown Boulder;7-10 pm. Learn to dance, experience our cultural heritage, meet lots of wonderful folks, and get in shape, all at the same time! No experience needed, no partner needed.

Co-Ed Fun Road Ride – Full Cycle

Take part in an enjoyable, relaxing co-ed ride starting at Full Cycle, 1795 Pearl St., at 6 p.m. June 4. The ride will be about an hour long and have a moderate pace. All ages welcome.

Boulder by Bike Ride – B-360
June 5
As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, join B-360 for a fun ride for all ages. This event begins and ends at Scott Carpenter Park with a rolling start between 3 and 5 p.m. Refreshments will be provided and participants are welcome to a post-ride picnic. Contact Annie Noble, 303-441-3242 or

Boulder Creek Path Historic Bike Tour

Community Cycles Bike Summer Bike Sale
June 11
Visit the Meadows Shopping Center at Foothills and Baseline from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 11 to donate your old bike or find the perfect summer bike. There will be a kid’s bike rodeo, prizes, refreshments and a helmet fitting. You can also register your bike with Boulder police for free. Proceeds will benefit Community Cycles. Boulder Jewish Festival 2011

Park(ing) Space Day

As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, visit “Park(ing) Spaces” all over to adopt a spot and convert it into a park for one day by setting up grass, flowers, trees, chairs and other features. Bike to Work Day
June 22
Join thousands of fellow walkers and bikers for Bike to Work Day on June 22. Clips of Faith Beer and Film Tour – New Belgium Brewery

As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, join us June 24 for the Clips of Faith Film Tour, sponsored by New Belgium Brewery. This tour is an extravaganza of beer and film expression. The films, which are free to view, will visit more than a dozen cities, including Boulder for Walk & Bike Month. Beer sales will benefit Community Cycles. Nature For Kids & Parents: Hitting the trail!
Sun June 26, 10-12 noon
Join city of Boulder Open Space naturalist Debora Martin for a family bike tour along South Boulder Creek. We'll look for the Bobolink, a distinctive bird of the open grasslands which gave this trailhead its name.  We'll stop at the creek for a snack, play a game and explore!  Bring a bike, helmet, water, snack, and meet at the Bobolink Trailhead for biking fun. Tagalongs and trailers OK.  Ages 6 and up.
