Earn-A-Bike Class Instructor Trainings (teaching bike mechanics)
If you would like to become a high-level volunteer, these trainings will be an opportunity to get dialed in and started. If you are already a volunteer, this training will provide the expectations we have of core volunteers and some skills for being a successful volunteer. We'll also help you if you feel that you don't know enough bike maintenance skills to help out.
Greeter Trainings (office work, introduction to programs)
These trainings are a great way to get familiar with our organization and its programs. You will be trained for the first hour and have on-the-job training and shadowing for the second portion of the shift.
Wheel Instructor Trainings (teaching bike mechanics)
If you would like to become a high-level volunteer, these trainings will be an opportunity to get dialed in and started. If you are already a volunteer, they will provide the expectations we have of core volunteers and some skills for being a successful volunteer. It will be specific to the wheel position, which is similar to the EAB Class Instructor position but focused on wheels. Instructor and Retail/Customer Service Trainings (teaching bike mechanics, retail/customer service)
This training is for those with bike mechanics skills who are interested in helping with our retail area and helping earn-a-bike participants, customers, and members work on their bikes with an emphasis on customer service.
The easiest way to help us is by signing up for shifts, especially regular shifts, but this training will prepare you for volunteering regularly. If you're interested coming any of these trainings, please sign up on Volgistics or speak with someone at the front desk. |
