Community Cycles is a volunteer-run and member-dependent organization. While, we have several avenues to fund our programs, advocacy and outreach, membership is a fundamental part of our organizational well-being.

Membership not only shows your commitment to bicycling in Boulder, but it tells potential donors, granters and government that we have a broad base of supporters that also want the best for biking in Boulder.

No, Really, Why Should I Join Community Cycles?

• Access - Anyone in Boulder can earn or buy a bike through our programs.
• Advocacy - We represent your interests working with local, regional and state government to ensure Boulder remains a bike-friendly community and that cyclists' needs are present in the City's transportation and planning agenda.
• Educate - We teach bike safety and rules of the road in partnership with Safe Routes to Schools,other organizations and programs.
• Cultivate - We have a passion for cycling and strongly believe that it's a viable, sustainable and healthy form of transportation not just an alternative. We aim to grow this philosophy in the public mind through events and campaigns such as Walk & Bike Month and Bike to Shop.
• Local - We're a local business and we support other local businesses. By joining, so do you.
• Nonprofit - Community Cycles is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. We will use your tax-deductible donation wisely to grow our outreach and advocacy programs.

Your membership is important to us, so we've revamped our program. Besides access to our shop, its tools and the guidance of our expert mechanics, we now offer Bicycle Benefits as part of our membership.

Bicycle Benefits is part of our Bike to Shop Campaign which encourages businesses to become more bike-friendly and rewards cyclists who "Bike to Shop". When you bike to shop at participating locations and show them your helmet decal, you'll recieve a discount on your purchase. Ride for local Bicycle Benefits today!
