 As an East Coaster, I'm new to the area. Born and raised in Richmond, VA and 4 years of college in Charleston, SC. After I finished college, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do next. Not ready to settle down quite yet into a meaningless job, I decided to do something that I'd wanted to for years. I left Richmond on April 10, 2010 on a "around the country" bicycle tour. No schedule. No destination. No itinerary. No definites. No obligations. Just out for an adventure. I am riding throughout the country working through the WWOOF organization working on organic farms in exchange for room, board, and knowledge on farming. Out to learn, see the country, meet to locals, and do new things. After I biked into Boulder, I decided I would stay here until the snowy season eased up. Arriving in Boulder mid-November, I am still fairly new. I plan on leaving here sometime in June to continue my trip. But for now, Boulder is my temporary home. |
